Herbal-medicine Master Zhang Tingjin of Beijing is invited by the Asian Division Friends Society, to give a lecture on the effectiveness of ancient Chinese healing methods for the disease and sickness in modern life. The lecture will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2006, 12:00 pm – 1:30 p.m., in the Whittall Pavilion, Jefferson Building, the Library of Congress, 10 First Street, SE, Washington, D.C. 20540.
Master Zhang is the great grandson of the court physician of Emperor Xianfang of Qing Dynasty. He inherited in-depth knowledge of ancient healing methods training since he was a young boy. He also acquired Western medical training at the University of Dalian. He had previously given lectures at the School of Alternative Medicine, Harvard University, University of California, Santa Barbara, and University of Hawaii on similar topic.
